Gioia Chilton

Gioia Chilton is a artist and art therapist in the Alexandria, Virginia area. Mixing paint and printmaking techniques, Gioia’s colorful art is inspired by her work as an art therapist addressing the urgent mental health needs of adults, adolescents, and children. Gioia has coauthored a textbook on art therapy and is particularly interested in how artwork can help us express and experience positive emotions through artistic self-expression.
